Average Los Angeles citizens on their commute to work on a Sunday at the Shrine Auditorium. As you can imagine, South Central is rejoicing the Emmy's takeover of nearly all streets surrounding the Shirne. Figueroa, usually a bustling LA avenue, has no cars but authorized limos, towncars, hummers, navigators, mercs, and other pimp-mobiles. I love a city that's in touch with reality.
Here's a shot from the top of a USC parking structure right across the way from my residential hall. So this is what all the comotion is about? Lously TV actors!!
So given the multiple bomb squad and SWAT units and countless cars and cycles, what could possibly be going on at the corner of Figueroa and Jefferson (this is the view from my dorm room at USC)? Maybe some worldly leader? Hell no, it's the 2004 Primetime Emmy's!!! Who else better deserves what seems like half the LAPD force? Come on, we all know how much more important TV (not even movie) actors are than any "world leader." I, mean come on this is LA!
Well, I woke up this morning and thought, "Oh, great, Osama struck USC!

Here's an interesting skylight from the underground Harris Architecture and Fine Arts Library at USC. This one of my quiet study areas. Some comfortable but modern furniture matched with a nicely lit cool (not warm) place makes for a perfect quiet study spot.

Here's a photo of tonight's North Residential College Student Government Elections. For the most part, the ticket I wanted won. Overall, a pretty good turn out for the one and only awesome USC Marshall Business Floor.
Here's my paparazzi attempt outside the tonight's Latin American Music Awards at the Shrine (just across from campus). It's too bad I have no idea who any of the celebrities are.
